According to IDC, worldwide IT out-sourcing and processing services spending was approximately $116.0 billion in 1999 and is expected to reach $177.2 billion by 2004, representing an 8.8% compounded annual growth rate. U.S. outsourcing services are expected to grow at the same compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) through 2004 to $61.6 billion.
